While we are so excited to be welcoming guests this summer, we also recognize that COVID-19 is still present and we all need to take precautions to help keep each other safe. Here’s what we are doing at the Yardarm Motel to keep our guests and staff protected.
The Governor’s order requires people to wear cloth face coverings in public places where physical distancing is difficult to maintain. That means we will be wearing masks at all times while serving you and we require our guests to wear a mask while in our breakfast room, office or shared public areas.
We use smartlocks on all guest room doors to avoid shared keys; contactless check-in is available to ensure that you can go straight from your car to your room if that’s your preference. Of course, we are always still happy to welcome you in person when you’re ready!
Our breakfast room is open with reduced capacity seating. We also have outside seating available for those beautiful, Maine summer mornings! We are happy to offer “grab and go” options for those who prefer to dine in-room.
We clean and sanitize rooms between guests using CDC guidelines and paying special attention to touch points. In line with recommendations from leading hospitality associations we have temporarily suspended our daily in-room cleaning service. However, replacement linens and amenities are available on request and if you are staying with us for 3 nights or more we can arrange in-room cleaning service on request.
All public areas are sanitized regularly, with particular attention to high-touch points like doorknobs and counters. Hand sanitizer is available for guest and staff use.
